Hemp Homes Australia is a hemp-based builder located in Western Australia’s Margaret River. Hemp Homes first gained national attention in 2017, after they successfully built WA’s first hemp-based home. 

Since then, they’ve worked on a number of homes, renovations and commercial building projects. Hemp Homes Australia also built and operates the Sativa Sanctuary Holiday Home in Witchcliffe, which is Australia’s first hemp-based holiday home.

Hemp Homes Australia is owned by Gary Rogers, who also owns Margaret River Hemp Co. Hemp Homes Australia grows their own industrial hemp and manufactures hempcrete in WA. 

Hemp Homes Australia was awarded the ‘Business of the Year 2020’ award in the Australian Cannabis and Hemp Industry awards. Their homes have been featured in a range of publications, including Sanctuary, the Canberra Times and Realestate.com.au. Their first hemp house can be seen in the video below.
