Canngea

Sydney NSW

Established in September 2017, Canngea is Australia’s only medical cannabis contract manufacturing organization and a licensed B2B operator serving other companies in the industry in the development of products for sale to domestic and international customers. They are Australia’s largest vertically integrated indoor grow facility, providing the highest quality product at the lowest cost.

Canngea’s fully integrated indoor grow facility is the first of its kind in Australia. Covering 11,000 square metres, it has full integration of labs, cultivation, processing, manufacturing, and distribution which reduces risk, increases crop yields and ensures product quality and consistency. They utilise automatic aeroponic (soil-less) technology and cutting edge grow methods and operations to fulfil manufacturing contracts, providing an end to end solution to clients.

Based in Sydney, Canngea provides comprehensive services that cover every stage of the medicinal cannabis production process. At the cultivation stage, they use an indoor growing method that does not involve any herbicides, pesticides, or alkaloids. In manufacturing, their on-site analytical laboratory helps with quality assurance by providing extraction, tissue culture and formulation services.

Canngea also provides automated and computer-controlled packaging and labelling, which ensures dosage accuracy and the capture of important packaging data. Their facility is designed to prioritize renewable energy and minimize water usage, and they use Bokashicycle technology as a low-cost, regulatory compliant, environmentally friendly and sustainable waste disposal source. For more information, they can be contacted by email at [email protected].
